Finding the right dog kennel

Finding the right dog boarding kennel can be stressful. While proximity is usually a major concern, there are other issues to consider when choosing a kennel. Some boarding kennels may offer a pick up service so don't forget to ask if this is available. However you should still check out the dog kennels before you book in. Different kennels offer many different standards of care and the owner's idea of 'Luxury Accomodation' or 'Cage Free' may be different from your own or even from a friend who has recommended them. For example, some boarding kennels may be fine for smaller or less active breeds but not so good for an energetic border collie.
